twinkle twinkle
in your eyes
sparkling brightly
a diamond sky
sweet sweet twinkle
stole my heart
wishing we
never can part
jump the rope
skip the stone
write your name
on the phone
sing a song
in my head
missing you
on the bed
lalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaa
twinkle twinkle
where are you
i'm in the meadow
silent and true
jump the rope
skip the stone
write your name
on the phone
sing a song
in my head
missing you
on the bed
lalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaa
it's only a fantasy
for now
it's only a fantasy
for now

crochet Pilgrim photo prop hat 6-9 months
supplies used
size H hook
Caron Simply Soft yarn
in black and brown
and a tapestry needle
to sew your ends in
some yellow or gray felt
and matching sewing thread for your felt
Pilgrim hat for a baby photo prop for 6-9 month old size or (16 inch circumference) .... i am creating a circle about 4 1/2 inches across using a magic circle and 8 hdc -....next once i have the top and wide as i want it ..
( i want it to be smaller at the top and increase as i get to the brim) ...
I made a dc into the back loops in each stitch all the way around - then slip stitched into the first to end the row - I made 3 rows in total with the same stitch count of one dc in each stitch around to gain some height.....
Now on the 4th row from the top of the hat I make an increase of 7 dc in each of the next 7 stitches then 2 dc into the 8th and repeat that pattern to the end of this row.
( note- you will not end this row with a a full repeat but may have 2 or 3 stitches left so just dc in each that is left and slip stitch to join. )
5th row up, dc all the way around in each stitch - slip stitch to join and the 6th row do the same - one dc in each stitch around to the start and slip stitch to join...
row 7 ... dc in the next 5 stitches and 2 dc in the 6th - repeat this all the way around and slip stitch to join ...
next do 1 more row of dc in each stitch around to gain the bottom hat height .
then ... hdc into the front loops of each stitch around and this will create a ridge slip stitch to join - then hdc in the whole stitch now - 5 times then on the 6th make 2 hdc ... repeat to the start and slip stitch to join... next row do one dc into each stitch around
dc all the way around
now i am doing a new row and making 3 dc in each of the next stitches then 2 dc in the 4th all the way around - this will be my last row for the brim and here is how it's looking
crochet band " i made a chain of 55 - or you can make a chain that fits around the bottom of your hat
2 rows of dc now and 1 row of hdc
leave long tail and sew the band to the hat with the tail
work in any extra and trim off
I took some yellow felt and cut out a little buckle
then sew'd it on with regular yellow sewing thread
and now you have a very cute Pilgrim hat for your baby for holiday photos

Handmade By Christie ~ crochet small monkey head applique
Handmade By Christie
Little monkey applique
you will need
an F hook and an E hook
some brown yarn and some tan or cream yarn some thread in tan/cream color and some in black
some
black embroidery floss
if you have them
black beads for the eyes
make a magic circle and make 8 single crochet into the circle
slip stitch into the first to join
chain up 2 ... 2 half double crochet in the first stitch and every stitch around " then slip stitch into the first and chain up 2 ........Next 1 half double crochet into the first stitch and 2 in the second stitch and repeat this all the way around and slip stitch into the first stitch of the row " tie off and sew in ends ~ you should have a 2 inch circle for the head of your monkey
make the ears ...
next we will make the ears " make a slip knot onto your hook - chain 3 - half double crochet 5 times into the 3rd chain from the hook - then slip stitch into the same 3rd chain from the hook and pull closed and chain one and tie off with leaving tails on work.... use tails to sew onto the head - i position the ears kind of center to a slight lower then center of the circle.... PS : if you want to make Curious George " you want to make the ears with your tan/cream colored yarn - the same color as the face.
Next " make a face ...
for the monkey face*** you want to use a yarn in cream or tan that is much thinner then the brown yarn you used for the head OR use an E hook and crochet loosely " make a magic circle again " with your tan/ cream yarn ... make 8 single crochet into the magic circle - slip stitch to join - then chain up 2 and make 2 half double crochet into each stitch around for a total of 16 half double crochet ... Next slip stitch into the next 2 - in the 3rd stitch half double crochet and double crochet twice then half double crochet into the next stitch all together " this makes a raised part for the first side of forehead - now do a single crochet in the next - then make the same pattern with half double - 2 double and half double crochets for the second raised half of the forehead " .... slip stitch in the next 3 stitches - half double in the next ( this makes a little bump for the chin ) then slip stitch in the next 3 and tie off with leaving a tail - a long tail ... with the tail you are going to get your sewing needle and fill in any holes in the work of the face while sewing in your tails... pull tails to back when your done and trim off - next you can take some tan/cream sewing thread and sew your face onto your monkey's head
create a face :)
for the monkey face i use black embroidery floss and black beads - you will also want black thread to sew on your eyes
if you want to create Curious George " then use some white floss and embroidery eyes and face on with white , black floss - I use felt and carefully cut out tiny eyes and sew on with sewing thread
Thank you for viewing my little crochet pattern
for a small monkey head applique
you can use any basic booty pattern
and sew these appliques to the top
of the toe on your booties.
